Nerf the already terrible in team formats "Defy Pain?" Seems we will be playing GW2 before this version of the game gets any better.

Oh sweet, a defy pain buff. Now I can use it with stance requirement skills.

Don't forget to drink a refreshing mug full of ice cold broken glass during your bath!

Sounds like another 6 hero run(4 for this mission). 2 accts FTW. Is there any market for selling heroes to people??? WTS 3 heroes for Temp Mish 200g your choice/build!!! Kinda like being a gate monkey in pre.

You could like... FLAG her behind you.

I actually had trouble with this one, for once not using infused armor made it really hard. Wiped several times but got it done eventually.

I did it quite easily on NM with just me and 3 heroes. Took me a while, because I was overly cautious about the reinforcements and spawns around the boss and spent a long time pulling and slaughtering everything.

With my next character I'm going to rush the boss between reinforcement waves, flag the whole party around him on his platform, summon an ooze and swarm him with minions and spirits while he's dazed. Pretty sure I'll do it in 1/3rd the time my first run took me.

I don't think that removing the damage reduction from defy pain killed turtle tanking.

Well if it's going to be used still, people with any sense will just bring stance removal.

Defy was nerfed due to its amazing ability to tank gvg lord room damage and brilliant on splits. Which made it a pretty sweet skill. Had nothing to do with the age old w/mo Competitive Mission melee tank.

Was nice while it lasted.

So much stupidity on this page ._.

Anet, if you're going to "balance" Dervishes, please make sure the end product isn't one-dimensional and braindead like your fantastic revised Blood Magic.

I just realized...when was the last time that when anet/devs said they would release one thing and maybe another as well...that they actually did?
I remember one time they said that but can't remember when or what, but they didn't in the end...
lol so just wandering what everyone's thoughts are of the chances that anet will actually release the derv updates at the same time as the gvg changes...I was optimistic at first but now the thought of maybe 6 months from now wait is...ergh...

They haven't said it would be definitely included with the GvG update. The update notes already said that the Derv update was secondary priority, and may not be included with the GvG update. So I don't think anybody's going to be holding their breath for it.

I note that this update DIDN'T reset the WiK bounty schedule. Wow.

Because the designers have clearer and more fleshed out ideas of how they want to approach the Dervish changes, they're focusing on Dervish as the next profession. If you have any ideas for Paragon, our designers check the Feedback portal on the official wiki regularly for suggestions.

Actually your wrong. The nerf more has to do with defy pain warriors tanking the whole lord pit while pumping out dmg with another caster.

This was actually a good update as it nerfs teams who just stall for 28 minutes by farming lord dmg.

Didn't think about that so much, seemed minor compared with abusing the bad tiebreaker.

I'm still waiting for the new Hall of Heroes map. It's already been 10 months since they announced it.

Thanks for being much more informative. I'm assuming there's some sort of tag or something for that?
